Shamanism is one of the oldest known spiritual traditions and teaches us ancient practices that embrace well-being, fulfilling our dreams and reaching our potential.

These practices and teachings have stood the test of time and are relevant to healing our modern-day issues.

Shamanism explores the underlying reasons for illness and seeks to bring about balance and harmony restoring us to wholeness of mind, body, and spirit.

I had a Shamanic healing with Virginia and had no idea what to expect. It was really relaxing and thought provoking. Virginia is a skilled and very sensitive practitioner. She has a lovely calm and loving way of explaining the process and really puts you at ease straight away.

I felt the healing really impacted me a lot, both whilst I was having the session and after. I would highly recommend Virginia and I will definitely be returning!

The healing session is always a collaboration between yourself, me as the practitioner, and all that is unseen.

The sessions begin with your starting point, and I guide the initial conversation.  During the session you remain fully clothed and will be either sitting or lying down.  The session may be hands-off, light touch of hands, or crystals or stones may be placed on your body.  Sacred tools such as a drum, rattles, bells, feathers, and smoke may be used.

During a session I will use ancient and modern techniques and processes, depending on what is required for an individual’s needs. Some people come for a one off session, when they are experiencing something of particular concern and for others a series of sessions works well, each building on the previous one.

A one-off session is certainly enough to impact some change however I recommend frequent sessions, because with the frequent sessions, we are less likely to revert to old ways of reacting to people and situations in our lives. Trauma and generational patterns affect our bodies, and our energy field holds a memory of these adverse experiences. It is these imprints which continue to influence us and how we engage with the world.  The way we react may be outdated and no longer useful to us and our lives.

Using these techniques handed down by the Q’ero medicine peoples of Peru, my work will enable you to heal your wounds, come back into balance, back into right relationship with yourself, raise your vibration, and assist in returning you to our natural state of being which is Love, Wisdom and Service. Then watch as the effects ripple out into your immediate world. We can only ever really change ourselves and when we do, the results can have an effect on those around us.

My role as a Shamanic Practitioner is to facilitate your self-healing process, and to empower you in your transformation. I create and hold the sacred space that you need to be able to connect to your innate wisdom, to witness and transform old stories and looping patterns.  A shamanic session will enable you to create a new story for yourself and a new way of being.

More about Virginia and her journey of shamanic healing

During a Chakra retreat holiday, in Gozo I was gifted with a suggestion – Join A Shamanic Practitioner Training Program - something I had not previously considered. I took up the quest and engaged in many years of training, the journey led me to the Q’ero shaman and with them a connection to the living lineage. I completed my training with the Spirit of the Inca and now work as a Shamanic Practitioner.
